Adrian
Introducing Adi, the man of many talents and founder, who can do it all except be on time. In Adi's world, there's no problem without a solution.
Adrian, translated as "the man of the sea," may have grown up on land, but he's got saltwater in his veins. He's been stoked about water sports since he was knee-high, starting as a boogieboarder back in the day. Nowadays no matter the sport – be it windsurfing, kiting, winging, surfing, or skating – Adi is a master of them all.
This passion drove him to establish the surf and skate brand Koabär seven years ago. At Koabär, Adi passionately shapes, mills, presses, and most importantly,
tests eco boards for various sports.
His deep connection with nature and his desire to expand the still-small world of sustainable board crafting led him to found the Eco Surf Supply Shop. His experience of deficits from working for many years in board sports production motivates him to invest all his energy in making it and its surroundings more sustainable and environmentally-friendly in the long term. Adi is characterised by his ambition, determination, and his knack for thinking big and broad.He's the man behind it all, ready to ride the waves of the future with his team.

Meet Essi, who has been calling the surf capital of Germany, Munic, her home for the last 27 years. Thanks to her French mum, she's fluent in the language of love, making her our go-to girl for all matters concerning French communication. Essi's been riding the wave with the surf and skate brand Koabär and Eco Surf Supply GmbH since day one. She's not only the coolest and most stylish surfskater but also the most understanding surf skate instructor you'll ever meet. Kids adore her during skate holidays, and we fondly call her "The Styling Skate Queen." For seven solid years, Essi has been a die-hard Eco Board lover. She is also the social media guru, and when the ship is rocking, she is there to lend a hand in any and all areas. She consistently brings structure and organisation to the team. With her empathetic nature, she turns colleagues into not just co-workers, but friends. She plays the role of challenging our wild ideas with a realistic perspective, and with her knack for structure and organisation, she helps turn them into reality.
