SR 500 - Powered Air-Purifying Respirator

Our personal protection tipp for all beard wearers and full-time professionals, designed for comfort and efficiency. The SR 500 system is a belt-worn self-contained air-purifying respirator (PAPR) which, in combination with our SR 570 face shield, it provides perfect protection against particles, gases and vapours, or a combination of these. It works in the same way as the SR 700, only slightly larger, and can use activated carbon filters to filter out toxic gases. Your ideal companion in the glazing room to protect you in your daily work. It is designed for use in oxygen-enriched atmospheres that are not immediately dangerous to life and health (IDLH). The SR 500 PAPR system is an alternative to Air Purifying Respirators (APR) in all situations where they are recommended. This is particularly true for heavy, hot or prolonged work. Filtered air is supplied to the SR 570 face shield via a breathing tube. The resulting overpressure prevents contaminants from the environment from entering the breathing zone.

The SR 570 is a robust protective mask with a flip-up visor that offers the user comfortable and safe respiratory and eye protection. The face shield has two filters for maximum efficiency and the shield does not tarnish as air is blown in with a fan. The fan is adjustable and therefore very comfortable. In combination with our SR 700 - Powered Air-Purifying Respirator or SR 500 - Powered Air-Purifying Respirator, the SR 570 offers you the perfect protection in your moulding workshop. The face shield is equipped with a holder for hearing protection. The SR 570 face shield is a modern, innovative product that has been designed and developed based on the needs and requirements of the market.
